Sussane Ibru Jail For 10 Weeks
Manipulative and predatory: Woman who stalked Rio Ferdinand jailed for ten weeks and banned from Alderley Edge for ten years
A 'predatory' stalker who hounded football star Rio Ferdinand has been jailed for 10 weeks and given a 10-year restraining order.
Susanne Ibru must not approach Rio or Rebecca Ferdinand or be anywhere near them for the next decade after her campaign of harassment against the United star.

Ibru, 38, was described as a 'manipulative and predatory' woman who was living in a 'fantasy world' during her sentencing hearing at Crewe Magistrates Court today. She was convicted last month of harassing the Ferdinand family, having travelled hundreds of miles from her London home to the player's Alderley Edge mansion demanding to speak to him.

Ibru was also banned from entering the village of Alderley Edge for the next 10 years.
As Ibru was led to the cells she said: "I stick two fingers up at you."
The District Judge jailed her for ten weeks and placed a ten year restraining order on the defendant. Ibru was convicted of harassment at Macclesfield Magistrates last month. The court heard how she harassed Rio and Rebecca Ferdinand on three occasions in 2010 - twice in the middle of the night waking them up.

She visited the footballer's home on Woodbrook Road, Alderley Edge and demanded to speak to him. On February 21 during her first visit she woke up the couple using the intercom at the front gate.

She was cautioned for harassment but turned up again on two occasions in June, said Ian Davies, prosecuting. When police asked her to leave on the second visit she hurled a white iphone from her window at Ferdinand's mansion gates and said: "Give it to Rio Ferdinand, it's Rio's phone."
Ibru, who grew up and lived in south London during the offences denied a charge of harassment but District Judge Nicholas Sanders said it was clear she was guilty and convicted her. During the previous hearing Ibru fled the court at the lunch break before she could be sentenced and was tracked down by police in Warrington the next day.
During her arrest she spat in a female police officer's face. Ibru also admitted assaulting a police officer and was sentenced to four weeks in prison to run consecutively with the six week sentence for the harassment charge.
District Judge Sanders said: "The pre-sentence report describes you as living in a fantasy world unable to interpret social situations and boundaries. You display a predatory and manipulative life style and have deliberately tried to manipulate interviewers.
