Less than a week after Kate Middleton married Britain's Prince William in what was an admittedly stunning Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown, knock-off versions of the dress are already hitting stores.
Kleinfeld Bridal Salon -- the wedding dress mecca featured in TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress" -- debuted their in-house take on Middleton's dress on Tuesday's (May 3) "Good Morning America." It isn't an exact copy, but the designers did stick close to the aesthetic with simple lines and an understated lace bodice. The Kleinfeld's version will retail for approximately $3,500 -- far less than the estimated $65,000 price-tag on Middleton's original.
Another version is already available for pre-order at Nordstrom. The JS Collection "Duchess" dress mimics Middleton's dress, but also comes with at a budget-conscious price of $698.
U.K. online retailer i-want-that-dress.com has versions of both of Kate's wedding day dresses available for approximately $576 apiece, along with a copy of Pippa Middleton's bridesmaid dress for $295.
Knockoff master ABS by Allen Schwartz also produced a copy of Middleton's dress, but will auction it off for charity. Though, Schwartz tells Entertainment Tonight, he thinks he could mass produce a version that would retail for somewhere between $400 - $800.
